Value Chain Insurance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Value Chain & Insurance Analyst for a short-term home-based assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tools and frameworks for integrating agricultural insurance into value chain business models
• Engage stakeholders and facilitate workshops to promote insurance-linked solutions
• Provide technical support for the implementation of bundled insurance programs

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master's) in agriculture, rural agricultural development, or agribusiness, or a Bachelor's degree with additional experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in international agricultural value chains in Africa, or 4 years with a Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year of experience in implementing inclusive insurance initiatives
• Proficiency in English and French; knowledge of Spanish is desired
• Experience engaging with global value chain players and facilitating multi-stakeholder consultations is preferred
