Variant Analysis Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Variant Analysis to oversee a team responsible for clinical genetic data reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a team of Variant Scientists, including production scheduling and metrics monitoring
• Lead a team to analyze and report on clinical genetic data using various technologies
• Develop team strategies, monitor performance, and support career development of team members

Required Qualifications

• PhD in biological sciences or related field with 3+ years of variant interpretation experience, or a Master's with 5+ years, or a Bachelor's with 8+ years
• 1 year of leadership or team management experience preferred
• 1 year of experience in a CLIA diagnostic laboratory preferred
• Familiarity with next-generation sequencing and genetic variant curation preferred
• Experience or interest in areas such as oncology, cardiology, or pediatric diagnostics preferred
