VAT Senior Tax Associate

Job Summary

A company in the Accounting industry is seeking a VAT Senior Tax Associate for a remote contract position.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare VAT compliance and accounting workpapers
• Coordinate with external compliance vendors for timely and accurate filings
• Assist with indirect tax audits and oversee responses to notices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline
• 4-6 years of indirect tax experience
• Vertex or equivalent sales tax software experience
• Open to a more seasoned consultant or Senior accountant
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
