VDC Coordinator Lead
Job Summary
To enhance project efficiency and coordination, the remote VDC Coordinator Lead will manage VDC/BIM processes, lead teams, develop execution strategies, and ensure model accuracy while mentoring staff and bridging communication between design teams.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary BIM/VDC point person, managing VDC support for multiple projects and leading teams
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) while ensuring adherence to company standards
- Lead clash detection meetings, facilitate internal/external reviews, and ensure alignment with design intent and project goals
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in VDC/BIM coordination within the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in VDC/BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Familiarity with construction processes, codes, and regulations
