VDC Designer
Job Summary
Supporting diverse commercial and industrial projects, the full-time VDC Designer I will utilize advanced CAD systems to create detailed construction and fabrication drawings while collaborating with project teams and providing onsite support as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Create intricate construction and fabrication drawings using CAD tools, particularly AutoCAD
- Develop detailed drawings for manufacturing and ensure compliance with project specifications by reviewing equipment submittal documents
- Coordinate project activities by interfacing with team leaders, project managers, and field supervisors
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with CAD systems, especially AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of construction and fabrication processes
- Ability to review technical documents and coordinate with multiple trades
- Excellent teamwork skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
