VDC Pipe Designer

Job Summary

Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, the full-time VDC Pipe Designer will model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems, with the potential for fully remote work for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Generate mechanical pipe models based on project specifications and design drawings
• Manage updates to drawings, models, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with the build and design team to identify and resolve construction errors

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping and process pipe trade, or 5+ years of BIM experience with Revit, CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures
• Availability to work assigned schedules
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
