VDC Pipe Designer

Job Summary

Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) and various software, the full-time VDC Pipe Designer will model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems, with the potential for fully remote work for the right experienced candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Generate mechanical pipe models based on project specifications and design drawings
• Incorporate and manage updates to drawings, models, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with the build and design team to identify and eliminate construction errors due to design flaws

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping and process pipe trade or 5+ years of BIM experience using Revit and CAD MEP
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in following written and oral instructions with attention to detail
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
• Availability to work assigned schedules
