VDC Pipe Designer

Job Summary

Utilizing advanced Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, the full-time VDC Pipe Designer will create and manage mechanical pipe models, coordinate project specifications, and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate and efficient designs, with the potential for fully remote work for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Generate mechanical pipe models based on project specifications, design drawings, and control diagrams
• Incorporate updates to drawings and models throughout the project lifecycle to eliminate design flaws
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring informed decision-making

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping or process piping, or 5+ years of BIM experience with Revit and CAD MEP
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Willingness to adhere to assigned schedules and project deadlines
