Job Summary
A company is looking for a Vendor Management Specialist to manage vendor relationships and optimize procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Conduct vendor assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in the development and implementation of vendor management policies and related procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of progressive vendor management experience
- Experience managing and facilitating vendor relationships and/or contracts
- Prior experience in an insurance, banking, or finance setting preferred
- May involve infrequent travel to sites (less than 5%)
