Job Summary
To grow the Venue customer base, the full-time Venue Account Executive will prospect and develop relationships within target accounts, manage the entire sales process from qualification to close, and execute a strategic territory plan to maximize revenue potential.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily prospecting and networking activities to build relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, law firms, and corporations
- Own the entire sales process from qualification to close while developing and executing a strategic territory plan
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and update Salesforce daily to track sales activities and insights
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of sales experience in B2B software/technology-enabled sales or 3-5 years in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to navigate large and mid-market organizations and develop senior-level relationships
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a successful track record in fast transactional sales cycles
- Familiarity with M&A, IPOs, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Finance
