Verification Control Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Verification Control Specialist to help identify and mitigate financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for transaction processing and documentation
• Analyze inbound requests to ensure compliance with financial and non-financial control guidelines
• Identify and recommend process improvements and training enhancements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3-5 years of operational risk management experience
• Experience in risk management life cycle elements in insurance or asset management
• Familiarity with data, analytics, and risk technology solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
• LOMA Designation (ALMI, FMLI) and FINRA series 6 and 26 preferred
