Verification Examiner

Job Summary

To support the Credentialing department, the remote Verification Examiner will verify practitioner credentials, ensuring compliance with department and health plan standards while completing a minimum of 20 primary source verifications daily.

Key responsibilities

• Performs verification of practitioner credentials and updates the PROMIS system according to health plan expectations
• Communicates with practitioners to obtain necessary information and verifies licenses, sanctions, and insurance details
• Maintains confidentiality of practitioner data and completes assigned work within predetermined timelines with high accuracy

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required
• 1 year of computer experience, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Industry experience and data entry experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent verbal communication skills for customer service interactions
