Verification Examiner

Job Summary

To support the Credentialing department, the remote Verification Examiner will complete practitioner credential verifications, ensuring compliance with standards and health plan expectations while maintaining a high accuracy rate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform verification and updates in PROMIS, completing over 20 primary source verifications daily
• Verify current licenses, sanctions, and education of applicants through appropriate agencies
• Communicate with practitioners to obtain necessary information and maintain confidentiality of data

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required
• 1 year of computer experience, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Preferred experience in data entry and the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent verbal communication skills for customer service interactions
