Job Summary

A company is looking for a Verification of Benefits Customer Services Representative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls from patients, attorneys, insurance companies, etc. to resolve problems and answer questions
  • Effectively communicate revenue cycle outcomes or processes with callers
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1 year of related healthcare and/or call center experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Flexible, with ability to learn quickly and meet department production and quality goals
  • Familiarity and proficiency with the policies and procedures of the Customer Service department
  • Knowledge of Medical Insurance terminology
