Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Service Center (PSC) Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and verify patient registration information, including demographics and insurance details
  • Coordinate and obtain necessary prior authorizations and referrals for patient appointments
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve financial clearance issues and ensure compliance with insurance requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 1-3 years of hospital registration and/or insurance experience desirable, with at least one year in a customer service role
  • General knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance processes preferred
  • Experience with Epic or similar healthcare management systems is preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite applications
