Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Verification Specialist will verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, support administrative workflows, and collaborate with clinic teams to ensure accurate and timely insurance verification.
Key responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain and confirm benefit information
- Collaborate with clinic teams and other departments to resolve insurance-related questions
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience with insurance verification, medical office operations, or healthcare administration preferred
- Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer benefit structures is a plus
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team
