Job Summary

A company is looking for a Verifying Representative to research patient and insurance records for accuracy prior to coding claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process patient care reports (PCRs) for assigned clients in a timely manner
• Gather and verify insurance information, ensuring validity for the date of service
• Confirm patient details such as name, date of birth, and address, performing due diligence to find missing information

Required Qualifications and Education

• Knowledge of medical billing processes
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Computer literacy, including the ability to work with multiple monitors
• Dependability and punctuality in meeting deadlines
• Quick learning ability and good note-taking skills during training
