A company is looking for a Verifying Representative to research patient and insurance records for completeness and accuracy before coding claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process patient care reports (PCRs) for assigned clients in a timely manner
• Gather and verify insurance information, ensuring validity for the date of service
• Verify patient details such as name, date of birth, and address, conducting thorough searches as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or related field
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in using multiple monitors
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Quick learner with the ability to take effective notes during training
