Vermont Licensed Choice Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Choice Counselor to support older Vermonters in maintaining independence through informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of individuals seeking assistance and provide Options Counseling for decision-making
• Gather and maintain accurate consumer records and ensure compliance with documentation standards
• Participate in outreach and marketing opportunities related to Options Counseling and disability services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, business administration, human services, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience working with aging and/or disability populations
• Knowledge of disability issues and commitment to Independent Living philosophy
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work independently
• Access to a working PC or Mac with necessary software and internet connectivity
