Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to establish and lead its in-house legal function.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on legal, compliance, and risk matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and support corporate governance
• Develop and maintain policies for compliance, privacy, and risk management

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active membership in at least one U.S. bar
• Minimum 5 years of broad legal experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure
• Strong generalist capabilities across commercial contracting, corporate governance, and employment law
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-stage or regulated industry, preferably healthcare
• Builder mindset ready to create processes and systems from scratch
