Veterans Billing Specialist

Job Summary

In a full-time remote role, the Veterans Billed Specialist will resolve billing issues related to diagnostic testing by ensuring facilities bill VES directly, conducting outreach to medical facilities, and maintaining accurate records of follow-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Update facility billing information and confirm zero balances on patient accounts
• Conduct outbound outreach to medical facilities to clarify billing requirements and coordinate invoice reassignments
• Maintain communication with facilities regarding outstanding or current claims and provide Veterans with confirmation of resolution

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One to two years of related experience in insurance or medical billing
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
