Job Summary

A company is looking for a Veteran's Disability Claims Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze veteran's claims files and medical evidence to address technical and medical issues
• Assist claimants in drafting statements and medical opinion requests while ensuring accurate documentation
• Mentor peers and support staff while maintaining knowledge of VA programs and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum one to two years of VA Disability claims experience or equivalent claims experience
• Strong organizational skills and high level of initiative
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
• Professional oral communication skills
