Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Consultant - Veterans Disability Appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze veteran claims files, medical evidence, and VA decisions to identify errors and compose briefs
• Assist claimants in drafting statements and medical opinion requests while selecting appropriate disability benefit questionnaires
• Mentor peers and support staff while maintaining technical knowledge of VA programs and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in Veteran's disability claims handling
• Strong organizational skills and high level of initiative
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
• Ability to learn and apply technical instructions
