Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist

Job Summary

Joining a collaborative pathology team, the full-time Anatomic Pathologist will produce high-quality histopathology reports from digital whole slide images, engage with submitting clinicians, and contribute to the development of the histology laboratory while working either onsite in the UK or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality histopathology reports within agreed daily quotas and turnaround times
• Engage with submitting clinicians to provide guidance on sampling and reports
• Support and develop the histology laboratory team through training and quality assurance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Recognised degree in Veterinary Medicine with MRCVS registration
• Board certification (ACVP/ECVP) or board eligible in Veterinary Pathology
• At least 3 years of experience in diagnostic pathology
• Experience working with digital pathology systems is desirable
• Familiarity with dictation software and Microsoft Office
