Veterinary Internal Medicine Consultant

Job Summary

Veterinary Internal Medicine Consultant is a full-time remote position that provides expert medical consultation to veterinary clients, focusing on internal medicine for small animals, including diagnostic reasoning and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver peer-to-peer medical consultation to veterinary clients regarding laboratory results, test selection, and case management
• Maintain knowledge of services and support consultation services while collaborating across departments
• Contribute to team culture through knowledge sharing and participation in internal learning resources

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent with an active license
• Residency trained and board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine (ACVIM or EVCIM)
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience post-board certification
• Fluency in English; bilingualism in French is a plus
• Proficient in using multiple IT platforms and adapting to new technologies
