Veterinary Pathologist License Required
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Pathologist to diagnose diseases in companion and laboratory animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Describe and interpret cytologic preparations and generate pathology narrative reports
- Consult with Veterinarians regarding diseases detected in samples and provide medical second opinions
- Stay current on veterinary practices and participate in quality control and pathology rounds
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
- Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologists
- Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state
- Previous experience in a lab environment is a plus
- Familiarity with Dragon software and Dicom viewers is a plus
