Job Summary
To support veterinary practices remotely, the full-time Veterinary Radiologist DVM Licensed will review and interpret digital diagnostic images such as x-rays, ultrasound, MRI, and CT, while collaborating with veterinary professionals and maintaining proficiency in clinical diagnostic skills.
Key responsibilities
- Remotely review, evaluate, and interpret various diagnostic images submitted digitally
- Dictate medical evaluations using dictating software and consult with clients and veterinary professionals through multiple communication platforms
- Participate in continuing education, quality control programs, and regular clinic rounds to maintain proficiency in veterinary diagnostics
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
- Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging preferred
- Expertise in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, CT, and MRI
- Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state
- Fluency in the English language
