Job Summary

A company is looking for a Veterinary Regulatory Counsel (Part-Time, Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on state and federal veterinary practice regulations, licensing requirements, and professional ethics standards
• Represent the client before veterinary boards and regulatory bodies
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to veterinary services and partnerships

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of legal experience focused on animal health laws and veterinary practice regulations
• Direct experience advising or representing veterinary professionals or companies
• Knowledge of corporate practice of veterinary medicine and veterinary telemedicine regulations
• Experience interacting with state veterinary medical boards and regulatory bodies
