Job Summary
To lead the Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) case investigation function, the remote Vice President, BSA/AML Operations will manage senior-level oversight of investigations, ensure compliance with BSA and AML regulations, and enhance the organization's compliance program.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee SAM case investigations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Develop and report key risk and performance indicators to management and the Board
- Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend risk-based remediation actions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS) preferred
- Extensive experience in BSA/AML operations and financial crimes investigations within a regulated institution
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large investigative teams
- Strong knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems
- Proven ability to engage effectively with regulators and senior leadership
