Vice President CMC

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee CMC strategy and execution for vaccine development programs
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary CMC team, fostering a collaborative culture
• Manage external partnerships and ensure compliance with funding agency requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree; advanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred in a related discipline
• At least 16 years of experience in CMC or biopharmaceutical development, with 8+ years in leadership
• Proven track record in leading vaccine or biologics CMC programs from IND to licensure
• Deep understanding of GMP manufacturing and relevant pharmaceutical regulations
• Experience with U.S. and international non-dilutive funding partners
