Vice President, Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President - Legal, Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction on legal matters, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation
• Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and lead legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions
• Manage legal disputes and oversee the protection of the company's intellectual property rights

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active status to practice law in the U.S
• Experience in a corporate legal department or as in-house counsel at a senior leadership level
• Deep knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to a professional services organization
• Prior experience engaging with senior executives and cross-functional departments
