Vice President Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare communications agency, the full-time Vice President Medical Director will manage the development and quality of scientific content, provide strategic oversight to clients, and mentor junior team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development of scientific content across multiple disease states and clients, ensuring accurate messaging
• Provide client and strategic oversight, evaluating feedback to inform tactical plans and market trends
• Conduct background research to support new business efforts and assist in training junior-level team members

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree required, with a clinical background preferred (MD/DO, NP, PA, PhD, PharmD)
• 8+ years of experience in a scientific or medical role, with pharmaceutical advertising experience preferred
• Experience in endocrinology (hypoparathyroidism) or rare disease therapeutic categories is a plus
• Proven ability to develop creative scientific solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients
• Excellent organizational skills and a strategic mindset
