Job Summary
To lead strategic initiatives and advocacy efforts, the full-time Vice President of Advocacy will oversee the International Youth Congress, manage complex partnerships, and ensure alignment with organizational goals in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and sustainability of the International Youth Congress, integrating youth insights into organizational planning
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, coordinating advocacy-related priorities and cross-functional initiatives
- Manage the advocacy agenda, providing legislative analysis and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to advance policy initiatives
Required qualifications
- Seven plus years of progressive leadership experience in advocacy, public policy, or related fields
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation
- Experience influencing senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority
- Prior experience managing direct reports and developing operational plans
- Demonstrated experience in youth work, evolving from individual case-level work to program management
