Vice President of AI
Job Summary
Leading the establishment of an AI Center of Excellence, the full-time salaried Vice President of AI will drive enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategy, governance, and innovation while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the enterprise AI Center of Excellence, advising leadership on emerging AI trends
- Establish frameworks for evaluating new AI technologies and sponsor high-impact AI initiatives
- Own AI governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and managing associated risks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with a focus on healthcare or insurance
- 5+ years in leadership roles related to AI governance, strategy, or innovation
- Proven track record of establishing AI governance frameworks and standards
- Hands-on experience with large language models and modern AI frameworks
