Vice President of AI Engineering

Job Summary

Driving the development of a central AI engineering platform, the full-time remote Vice President of AI Engineering will manage delivery velocity, oversee the AI Harness product strategy, and empower developers through comprehensive tooling and frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery-velocity mandate by establishing metrics and reporting progress to leadership
• Build and maintain the AI Harness as a product, managing strategy, roadmaps, and cost optimization
• Lead the development of a high-performing organization focused on delivery and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior leadership within AI/ML platforms or engineering productivity organizations
• Proven track record of improving software delivery velocity through developer experience investments
• Deep knowledge of LLM application engineering and agent frameworks at production scale
• Experience with bank-grade security and compliance requirements in financial services
• Familiarity with the community bank and credit union market and competitive landscape
