Vice President of AI Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the transformation to an AI-native engineering organization, the full-time Vice President of AI Engineering will drive the adoption of AI across software development, build AI-powered solutions, and shape engineering practices while collaborating with senior leadership in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle, establishing new engineering practices
- Build organizational capability to design and operate AI-powered business solutions, including workflow automation and operations optimization tools
- Shape the right mix of internal engineering talent and strategic partners to support an AI-native organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 10-14 years of technical experience with 4-6 years of direct management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise application modernization and evolving legacy systems
- Deep understanding of the AI software engineering landscape and experience with AI-assisted approaches
- Strong background in OpEx/CapEx management and the ability to connect technical milestones to financial outcomes
