Vice President of Applied AI

Job Summary

Driving internal business efficiency, the full-time Vice President of Applied AI will manage company-wide AI adoption, lead forward-deployed engineering teams, and oversee Stord's enterprise systems and security, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and implement Stord's AI adoption strategy across all internal teams, ensuring a unified AI-native operating layer
• Build and lead a forward-deployed engineering and product team to address workflow problems and deliver custom AI-native solutions
• Oversee the integration of business systems during acquisitions to ensure seamless operation within Stord's enterprise stack

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in a senior technical or operating leadership role within a high-growth business, with direct budget and hiring responsibilities
• Experience building and leading forward-deployed engineering teams that deliver working software rapidly
• Proven track record in integrating systems and teams following acquisitions
• Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, system integration, and data management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to earn trust across multiple functions and drive change management effectively
