Vice President of Business Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President for Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive commercial revenues through outbound business development and sales efforts
• Build and manage strategic partnerships and channel relationships
• Lead the development of the Business Development function, including strategy and team building

Required Qualifications:

• Established professional network within (re)insurance and risk analytics communities
• Proven track record in technical, software, or data sales, including complex deals
• Experience building a new business development function from the ground up
• Strong commercial judgment in a mission-driven, nonprofit environment
• Understanding of climate risk and hazard modeling, underwriting, and geospatial data applications
