Vice President of Business Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of New Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop executive relationships within government-sponsored health plans to secure senior-level meetings and establish sponsorship
• Identify and initiate strategic pilots, platform evaluations, and multi-year partnership discussions
• Act as an executive sponsor throughout complex deal cycles, supporting pricing and negotiation strategies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, or Dual-Eligible plans
• Proven ability to secure executive-level access (C-suite / EVP / SVP)
• Strong understanding of health plan operations and procurement processes
• Demonstrated track record of translating relationships into commercial outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
