Job Summary
To drive regional growth and client engagement, the full-time salaried Vice President of Business Development will lead a team focused on securing contracts in the energy efficiency market while developing strategic growth plans and maintaining executive-level client relationships remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the regional Business Development team, setting performance expectations and supporting team members
- Develop and implement regional growth plans informed by market trends and regulatory environments
- Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with clients to secure revenue-generating agreements
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in the energy efficiency industry
- 14+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 12+ years with an MBA
- Proven ability to lead complex business development initiatives
- Expertise in applying national market insights to client strategy
- Experience in developing and refining advanced business development concepts
