Vice President of Business Development
Job Summary
Leading strategic partnering activities, the temporary Vice President of Business Development Transactions will negotiate and execute complex business development transactions for the oncology portfolio, working remotely and reporting to the Chief Business Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Lead negotiations for strategic partnering transactions, including licensing and collaboration agreements
- Advise senior management on optimal transaction structures and develop financial terms that maximize asset value
- Support evaluation of partnering opportunities and contribute to business case development and valuation analyses
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences, business, law, or a related discipline (PhD, MD, MBA, JD, or equivalent preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related fields with a focus on business development
- Significant experience negotiating biopharmaceutical licensing and collaboration transactions
- Deep understanding of drug development, intellectual property, and biopharmaceutical commercialization
- Strong financial and valuation acumen
