Vice President of Capital Cost Management

Job Summary

Owning the capital cost discipline across the project lifecycle, the full-time remote Vice President of Capital Cost Management will establish project cost estimation, control, and forecasting standards while collaborating with Finance and Construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain estimating standards for capital projects, ensuring consistency in methods and reporting
• Own the approved project cost baseline, documenting and evaluating changes accurately
• Consolidate project estimates, commitments, actuals, and forecasts into a complete estimate at completion

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in construction cost, estimating, or project controls, with significant leadership experience
• Proven experience in capital cost management from preconstruction estimating through project completion
• Direct experience in integrating project estimates, commitments, and forecasts
• Experience in establishing cost-reporting standards across capital projects
• Strong working knowledge of construction cost drivers and project controls, with data center construction experience preferred
