Vice President of Capital Forecasting

Job Summary

Leading the Capital Management Forecasting Team, the remote Vice President of Capital Forecasting will manage enterprise financial forecasts, enhance forecasting capabilities, and support executive decision-making through strategic analytics and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quarterly production of financial forecasts, including management earnings and US GAAP capital constraints
• Serve as the technical lead for US GAAP projections, ensuring consistency between forecast outputs and financial reporting
• Develop executive-level forecasting analytics and design controls to ensure the accuracy and governance of forecasting processes

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, actuarial science, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis within the insurance or reinsurance sector
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent accounting designation preferred; ASA or FSA valued for candidates with actuarial exposure
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with financial modeling and defining business requirements for financial systems and forecasting platforms
