Vice President of Claims

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership for the Claims organization, the full-time remote Vice President of Claims will ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and risk management while driving performance through leadership development and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and oversee the department's strategic vision, performance standards, and key performance indicators to drive operational excellence
• Direct and develop a leadership team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance frameworks are maintained across all claims functions in accordance with regulatory and company requirements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 7+ years of progressive mortgage servicing default management experience, including claims administration and regulatory compliance
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale claims operations
• Deep knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations and investor guidelines
• Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and regulatory agencies
