Vice President of Clinical Development

Job Summary

Leading clinical operational activities, the full-time Vice President of Clinical Development will develop strategies for clinical programs, manage full-time and part-time personnel, and serve as a subject matter expert in scientific and clinical development, with a focus on both internal and external product candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clinical development strategies for internal and partnered programs, including timelines and cost estimates
• Manage full-time employees and part-time contractors involved in various clinical roles
• Oversee the execution of Phase I-IV clinical trials globally, ensuring adherence to timelines and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Extensive background in scientific and clinical development across various therapeutic areas, including CNS, oncology, and rare diseases
• Strong understanding of 505(b)(2) and hybrid medicine approval pathways
• Proven experience in leading and managing global clinical trials
• MD or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline preferred
• Knowledge of Clinical Regulatory guidelines and Clinical Quality regulations
