Vice President of Clinical Operations

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight, the full-time salaried Vice President of Clinical Development Operations will ensure the execution of clinical studies for evidence generation, focusing on quality, compliance, and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold primary accountability for the operational planning, management, and execution of clinical trials designed for clinical evidence generation
• Drive performance against key trial metrics, including site activation, patient enrollment, and budget adherence
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team capable of managing clinical evidence generation studies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, life sciences, or healthcare discipline required; advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD) preferred
• 13+ years of progressive clinical trial operations experience within pharma, biotech, or medical device sectors
• 5+ years of experience managing and building high-performing clinical operations teams
• Deep knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and experience with regulatory authority inspections
• Proven track record of collaborating with Biostatistics, Data Management, and Medical Directors for timely database locks
