Vice President of Cloud Engineering

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the full-time remote Vice President of Cloud Engineering will define and execute the Azure cloud strategy, lead cross-functional teams in delivering internal developer platforms, and ensure the reliability and security of cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise Azure cloud and platform strategy aligned with business growth and product delivery needs
• Own the end-to-end Azure environment, including architecture, networking, and operational excellence across all platforms
• Lead the Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Platform teams to drive modernization initiatives and improve developer velocity through self-service capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree and relevant Microsoft certifications preferred
• Minimum of ten years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, with at least five years in leadership roles
• Advanced experience designing and operating large-scale Microsoft Azure environments at an enterprise level
• Proven track record in building and leading DevOps or Platform Engineering organizations within a product/agile operating model
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture patterns
