Job Summary
To lead U.S. market expansion for a high-growth technology company, the contract-to-hire Vice President of Commercial will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy, secure initial enterprise customers, and establish the U.S. commercial organization while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the U.S. go-to-market strategy across key verticals, including biotech and life sciences
- Personally lead and close initial enterprise deals within the first 90-120 days while building and managing an early-stage pipeline
- Design and hire the initial commercial team, establishing sales processes, KPIs, and reporting infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales
- Proven experience building or scaling a commercial function in the U.S
- Strong track record of closing enterprise deals valued at $50K-$250K+ ACV or higher
- Experience selling into life sciences, CROs, or enterprise R&D environments
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically in an early-stage environment
