Job Summary

As a senior strategic leader, the full-time remote Vice President of Communications will manage global media strategies, cultivate key media relationships, and oversee communications across the prize lifecycle to enhance XPRIZE's visibility and impact among donors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own global media strategy and cultivate relationships with journalists across various sectors
• Lead communications strategy throughout the prize lifecycle, ensuring coordinated earned media plans
• Shape narrative strategies that connect scientific breakthroughs to philanthropic investment decisions

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of communications leadership experience, including earned media strategy
• Demonstrated success in translating complex scientific or technical subject matter into compelling narratives
• Established relationships with top-tier media in science, technology, business, and philanthropy
• Proven ability to build communications infrastructure from scratch
• Experience developing donor-facing communications for sophisticated investor audiences
