Job Summary

Leading the compensation strategy, the full-time Vice President of Compensation will establish foundational policies and processes, manage the annual compensation cycle, and partner with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, with a preferred location in Detroit but remote work considered for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute the compensation team's vision and strategy, focusing on modernizing compensation policies and processes
  • Oversee the design and execution of broad-based annual compensation plans while analyzing program performance for improvements
  • Develop data-driven dashboards to communicate the effectiveness of compensation initiatives to executive leadership
Required qualifications
  • 15 years of progressive compensation experience with a focus on broad-based compensation and large-scale plans
  • 10 years of leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and advocate for a strategic compensation team
  • Demonstrated experience in administering career frameworks and standardized bonus targets across complex businesses
  • Deep understanding of compensation technologies and experience leveraging AI to optimize compensation functions
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to partner with business leaders and drive compensation programs across the company
